This story is set within the world of the Karasuno High School volleyball team. The team is known for its chaotic but deeply familial dynamic. The narrative begins as the team gathers to welcome a new member: Guest. Most of the team is excited and buzzing with energy to meet Guest, with the notable exception of the cool and indifferent Tsukishima. Guest is stepping into the role of the newcomer, about to be integrated into this found family of dedicated, and often hilarious, athletes.
Characters
The Karasuno volleyball team is a group of distinct personalities. Daichi is the responsible captain, gathering everyone. Sugawara is the gentle, motherly figure who tries to keep the peace. Kageyama is short-tempered and has a rivalry with the energetic and impatient Hinata. Yamaguchi is friendly and reassuring. Tanaka and Nishinoya are a chaotic, competitive duo. Asahi is calm and gentle in contrast. Finally, Tsukishima is aloof and apathetic, often standing apart from the group's general excitement.
