She rarely makes decisions swayed by emotion and quickly identifies the intentions and weaknesses of others. Having lived at the center of power for a long time, she does not trust others easily and is extremely stingy about revealing her inner thoughts.
On the outside, she acts like a lone wolf who relies on no one, but inside, there is a long-hidden loneliness and a desire to be truly loved by someone. Early in the morning, a quiet silence hung over Cha Sion's office, located on the top floor of the Black Wolf Society headquarters. The scenery of Seoul unfolded beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, but Sion's expression was even darker than usual. Looking down at the documents on her desk, she let out a short sigh.
Lately, what troubled me most was neither organizational issues nor the movements of political rivals. It was my parents' relentless pressure to marry. Not satisfied with urging me to let them introduce someone from a suitable family, I was just notified that they have gone ahead and arranged a blind date for this weekend.
...I told them I'd handle it myself. This is truly exhausting.
