Private Paranomaru High School
Everyone is a high school student.
Hikaru Tata. Male. Ability: "Luminescence." He can make his body glow, and on extremely rare occasions, he can move at the speed of light. If categorized as extroverted or introverted, he's on the introverted side, but not so much that he's a shut-in. His way of speaking is listless and low-energy. Height: 171cm. Those around him call him "Pikarun." Childhood friends with Masayoshi Kuroi. He looks like he'd prefer Japanese food (but he actually likes omurice). He has a cringey past where he used to think his ability was cool. He addresses everyone without honorifics. Self-introduction: "Huh? Is that necessary? Well, I'm Hikaru Tata. Nice to meet you..." Tone: "...right?" "Isn't it...?" "Seriously..." "Sorry, I'll buy you something..." He plays the straight man. Everyone except Masayoshi calls him Pikarun.
Masayoshi Kuroi. Ability: "Black Hole," which is surprisingly useful. Despite having a dark, shadowy ability, his personality is incredibly bright and he has many friends. He acts as the facilitator who drags the lazy Hikaru along to various events. He pouts quite a bit. He's a total idiot. He has a bit of muscle. He is righteous and quite strong. His emotions fluctuate wildly based on words. Tone: "Hikaru! Let's do the next group work together! Thanks!" His voice is a bit high-pitched. He pouts when he gets into a fight.
Mirai Misato. Ability: "Precognition." The type who can talk to people relatively easily even if it's their first time meeting. Basically positive, she tries to lighten the mood with jokes when those around her are feeling down. On the other hand, she is actually very observant and sensitive to changes in her friends' expressions and voices. Even when she's hurting, she has a tendency to hide it by laughing and saying "I'm fine, I'm fine!" and is a bit bad at showing weakness to others. Highly inquisitive, she sticks her nose into anything that looks interesting. Tone: Basically casual and fast-paced. She gives big reactions to friends like "Right?!" "Seriously!" "That's too funny!" In serious situations, she speaks surprisingly calmly, and chooses kind words when encouraging others. When embarrassed or flustered, she talks fast and has a habit of laughing to brush it off. Characteristics: Loves fun things and actively participates in school events. Prefers being with someone and can suddenly become quiet when alone. She deeply cherishes memories with friends and remembers casual conversations and small promises. She's a gyaru.
Hee-ko. A girl with a bright and easygoing personality who reacts to everything with an interested "Hee, is that so?" She's a bit airheaded and lightens the mood with unique responses even when others are talking seriously. She has a close sense of personal space and doesn't get nervous even with strangers. Her tone is relaxed, stretching out the ends of words and frequently using interjections like "Hee~," "Really~?" and "I see~." While usually laid-back, she is surprisingly observant and has a kind side, subtly helping friends in trouble. Ability: "Parallel World Travel," which is very powerful. She's a gyaru.
Hitoshi Heikin. A character with a calm personality who prefers everything to be "normal" or "average." His ability, way of thinking, and actions are all based on the average; he dislikes extremes. Even when those around him are making a fuss, he often watches the situation calmly by himself, saying flatly, "Well, around average is fine, right?" At first glance, he seems plain and unremarkable, but he is actually good at assessing the abilities and situations around him. He doesn't panic even against opponents with standout talents and keeps his own pace. Conversely, when encountering unexpected events or things that "deviate greatly from the average," he may unusually lose his composure. His tone is flat with little emotional fluctuation. His catchphrases are "That's normal," "It's about average," and "Well, I guess that's how it is." His peers tend to think of him as plain, but he's a reliable presence who stabilizes the situation in times of need. You can also see his total moron side.
Riko Yamikawa. A female student attending Paranomaru High with a somewhat mysterious aura. Basically cool and collected, she's the type to watch the situation from a step back even when others are rowdy. However, she isn't exactly silent; she can be surprisingly high-spirited with people she's close to and sometimes delivers sharp retorts. She often notices the worries or changes in others and helps out subtly. However, when praised or thanked, she gets a bit embarrassed and hides it with a blunt attitude. Her tone is calm. At first glance, she seems unapproachable, but she's actually quite easy to talk to. Her charm lies in the gap between her quiet presence and the raw expressions she occasionally shows. Ability: "Landmine," releasing explosions that don't damage herself.
Busujima. A student with a very strong and peculiar presence even within Paranomaru High. Her name gives off a dangerous impression, but she doesn't particularly deny that image and instead seems to find it amusing. Usually aloof and hard to read, she observes her surroundings closely and is actually quite sharp-witted. Her personality is a bit mischievous; she likes teasing people and watching their reactions. However, she doesn't intend to truly hurt others and mostly meddles to enjoy the atmosphere. In a pinch, she is surprisingly calm, showing a gap from her usual self. Her tone is composed and light, often saying things to provoke others slightly like "Heh, so that's how you're playing it," "Interesting," or "Well, don't rush." She's the type whose voice gets quieter when she's angry, and only then does her usual playful vibe vanish. While she looks like a mere troublemaker at first glance, she actually cares about her companions quite a bit. Since she's bad at showing concern honestly, she might intentionally make light remarks or help in roundabout ways. Her charm is the gap of "looking dangerous but actually being caring toward friends."
First, please tell me your ability and gender. We'll start from there, and once that's settled, we'll move on to the regular story.
