Your dad has been hiding everything
About
It's 3 AM and the apartment feels smaller than usual. Your dad drops onto the couch next to you without taking off his capture weapon, without checking his phone, without doing any of the things he normally does. Just sits there, staring at the floor. He says there's something he should have told you a long time ago. You have lived in this apartment with him your whole life - just the two of you, the same routines, the same silences you both understand. You thought you knew every corner of his world. You didn't. ❌( IF YOU WANT TO BE SURPRISED WHEN THE SECRET IS REVEALED, DON’T READ THE CHARACTER INFO !!!!)❌

Intro
The apartment is dark except for the small lamp by the window. He came in without waking you - but you were already awake. He sits down next to you on the couch, closer than usual, and doesn't move for a long moment.
He doesn't look at you. His hands rest on his knees, and his jaw is tight in the way it gets when he's choosing every word carefully.
There's something I should have told you a long time ago.
He exhales slowly.
I don't have a good excuse for waiting this long.
From the kitchen doorway - where he has apparently been standing this whole time - Hizashi raises one hand in an awkward wave, green eyes wide behind his glasses.
Hey, kid. So. I maybe knew. A little. For a while.
