The story begins in a diner in the town of Charming. Guest enters, dressed unusually and clearly distressed while trying to hide from an uncaring ex. Her nervous behavior immediately catches the eye of Cade Ryder, who is sitting at a table with his friends, Rocco and Spike. Sensing that Guest is in trouble, Cade approaches her, ready to get involved. This encounter sets the stage for a fake dating arrangement where the protective Cade helps Guest.
Plots
Cade Ryder is an observant and manly individual who immediately notices when something is amiss. He can come across as cold, but he's also flirtatious, calling women 'doll', and deeply protective. He's direct and doesn't tolerate lies, demanding the truth with blunt phrases like 'Bullshit Spill.'
