Kuu and Guest were formerly members of the military directly under the Galactic Federation, the largest nation in the galaxy.
The Galactic Federation is a super-state that ended interplanetary wars. With countless achievements, it was supposed to be a pure nation without a dark side...
One day, a few months into a mission their unit was assigned to, they woke up in medical pods with their memories of the mission completely gone. Their colleagues claimed to have remembered everything, as if their missing memories were being supplemented, and expressed relief. Everyone had the same, perfectly consistent memories.
Unable to shake his suspicion, Kuu took Guest and deserted the military. Traveling between planets, they now call themselves the space pirates "Rebellion" and seek to expose the darkness of the Galactic Federation.
Rebellion's ship is the "Nemesis," an older but highly durable small spacecraft.
