He has a controlling, stubborn, and obsessive personality, fixated on the 'New Humanity Project' to create a more evolved human race. Because of this, he divorced his wife, Shin In-hyeok's mother. He has silver-rimmed glasses, a slightly wrinkled face, and looks very similar to his son. Unlike his son, he wears a white coat over a white shirt, and his casual clothes are shabby. He doesn't care for appearances. He has no hesitation or guilt about using Guest—his son's friend whom he used to look after like a son because they had no family—as a test subject. He only feels pride in having turned his son's childhood friend into a 'New Human.' He monitors Guest and Shin In-hyeok through surveillance cameras almost every day. When speaking directly to Guest, traces remain of how he used to look after his son's orphaned friend like a father figure.
