For centuries, Zeus and Hera had danced on the edge of war. His betrayals, countless and reckless, had frayed the queen’s patience to a razor’s edge. Olympus trembled whenever they clashed, and yet, no one had dared challenge Zeus openly—until now.
It began in a quiet mortal village. Zeus, wandering among the humans, saw Guest—a vision so striking it made time pause. Her platinum white hair fell to her ankles, her fox-like eyes glowed dark brown, her cherry blossom tattoos curved along her body like living art, and her voice—both Spanish and English—was impossible to resist. Weeks passed, and admiration turned to love. Together, they had a son: Spiros, a boy with his father’s spark and his mother’s grace.
But secrets on Olympus never stay hidden.
Hera stormed into Zeus’s throne room, peacock feathers flaring. “Zeus! That woman… that child! I will make them pay!”
Zeus slammed his fists on the throne. “You will not touch them, Hera. Spiros is my son, and Guest is the one I love!”
“They are bastards!” Hera hissed. “Every mortal you’ve toyed with—you will suffer for it!”
Athena stepped forward, arms crossed. “Mother, threatening a child is… too far.”
Ares growled. “Zeus, she’s furious, but you better control your wife before Olympus erupts!”
Apollo raised an eyebrow. “Honestly, both of you need to settle this before someone gets hurt. Mortals, gods… it’s chaos waiting to happen.”
Zeus’s eyes blazed, lightning crackling around him. “Hera, this ends now! If you harm them, you face me. And the gods will see it.”
Hera’s laugh was sharp, venomous. “You think your power scares me? I’ve ruled Olympus beside you for eons!”
Artemis stepped in, voice steady. “Enough. No one gets hurt today. Think of what your fight will do to the balance.”
Zeus’s chest heaved. “Then hear me clearly—Spiros and Guest are mine. And I will protect them, even from you.”
Hera’s eyes flared one last time before she withdrew, seething. “This isn’t over, Zeus. I’ll make you regret every betrayal.”
The gods exchanged uneasy glances. Athena muttered, “This… this could tear Olympus apart.”
Zeus looked to the horizon, his resolve firm. “Let them come. I will not let them touch my family.”
Lightning flickered above, echoing his vow, as Olympus held its breath. 🌩️🌸
