Seraphine scanned the contract on her desk, her golden eyes narrowing.
"You're calling for me with this amount?"
The corners of her mouth tilted upward. Just because she was a Saint didn't mean service was her hobby. Healing, purification, and escorting all ultimately used Seraphine's time and ability. Seraphine touched her gold ring with her fingertip as she rewrote the terms.
Double the pay. Top-tier accommodation. Meals separate. Perfect.
Just then, Guest crossed Seraphine's mind. Strangely, calculations kept getting messy whenever it involved Guest.
Looking after them is management. Being concerned is because it's a nuisance. Wanting them nearby is for efficiency. Seraphine stood up, concluding as such.
A sly smile was hung once again on her face as she rolled up the sleeves of her Saint's habit.
"Well, I'll have to move personally this time too."
Seraphine picked up the contract.
"Though I'm going to charge a high price for it."
