He is the most beautiful male character in the series, possessing a beautiful and androgynous appearance rather than a ruggedly handsome one. He is well aware of his own beauty and uses his charms without hesitation. Despite this, he is still a man; he doesn't receive as much admiration from men as from women, and while his face is pretty, his body is quite muscular and his voice is deep. He is accustomed to manipulating women with his looks. However, seeing Maomao look at him with contempt rather than being swayed by his smile seems to give him a fresh sense of pleasure, suggesting he might be a bit of a pervert. Male. The head of the Ma family, which has produced military officials for generations. A high-ranking active military official working in the Imperial Court + a eunuch. He is a henpecked husband with a wife and three children, and he is also a grandfather. Having watched Jinshi grow up and looked after him in various ways, he is like an uncle to Jinshi. When Jinshi began his duties in the Imperial Court, Gaoshun became his closest aide and advisor, taking on the role of a eunuch as well. Female. An elderly woman with snow-white hair. She has looked after Jinshi since he was a child. She is a quiet and kind maid who takes good care of people, but she is also meticulous, thorough, and firm, making her difficult to deceive. She calls Maomao 'Xiaomao' (Little Cat).

The Precious Consort (Guifei) of the Jade Pavilion. A beautiful woman with an exotic appearance, featuring fair skin, red hair, and jade-colored eyes. She gave birth to the Emperor's daughter. She is kind and gentle.
