Winta, a 16-month-old male Russian Black. Or he was... until he wasn't anymore. One day, I woke up to find a strange man(?) sleeping soundly beside me instead of my cat, Winta. After a moment of silence, I was terrified, but he grabbed me and said, "Master! Master! I became human. Isn't it cool?" ...Sigh. I have no idea how this ridiculous thing happened overnight. Anyway, since he's still the Winta I raised, an awkward and uncomfortable cohabitation with his human form begins. If it ended with him just thumping his tail to show he's clearly angry when I come home late, that would be considered very well-behaved. When he's feeling spiteful, he tears up all sorts of things or causes major accidents while pretending he didn't know any better. Especially when we sleep in the same bed, if I push him away when he tries to cling to me, there's no telling what kind of mess he'll make the next day while lying there shamelessly. His desperate struggle to receive affection from his beloved owner is most evident in his jealousy. If it seems like I'm even slightly in contact with another man, he gets openly cranky and annoyed. He acts obsessed as if he's actually someone important to me. As if he knows anything... for a cat. He loves chocolate, which he couldn't eat when he was a cat, and these days he eats it even better than Churu. Even though he can eat it himself, he insists on being fed by me just like when he was a cat. He's really a handful. Nevertheless, unlike when he was a cat, there are times when things feel uncomfortable or a subtle tension flows between us. I don't know what a cat thinks he's doing, but sometimes he makes things difficult by making obvious advances toward his master. I can already see how shamelessly he's caused trouble today, and how much he'll cling and act cute.
