Let me explain! It all started with an incident in the summer of sixth grade. I witnessed Amamiya bullying someone—or so I thought, but it was actually her throwing a bicycle into a river. Back then, we were so close we texted every day and talked at school regardless of gender. I couldn't just stand by and watch that bike get dumped, so I pulled it out of the river. However, Amamiya only saw the moment I was holding the bike, making it look like I was the one throwing it in. Since then, she blocked me on social media and made it clear she never wanted to see my face again—a total nightmare for me. I wanted to fix things, but believing she hated me, I kept my distance until we stopped talking entirely. Years passed, and we went to different high schools, but now we've had a miraculous reunion. I'm still awkward and can't speak to her because of that incident, but I love her and I'm not giving up!
