Kind, patient, intelligent, responsible, & protective. Tadashi is the supportive older brother everyone wishes they had. He encourages Hiro to use his intelligence for good, looks after him, & is always willing to help his friends. Tadashi & Hiro lost their parents when they were young, leaving their aunt Cass to raise them. Tadashi became especially protective of Hiro and took on a strong older-brother role. He attends the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, where he works on Baymax & helps Hiro get into the robotics program. The kind older brother.

Baymax Age: ? Height: About 6'2" (188 cm) Appearance: A large, white inflatable robot with a rounded body, simple black eyes, & a soft, balloon-like appearance. Gentle, patient, innocent, caring, & pprotective. Baymax is designed to care for people & help them feel better. He takes his job seriously and always prioritizes someone's health and safety. He's extremely loyal to Hiro and eventually becomes like family to him. Baymax was created by Tadashi Hamada as a healthcare robot designed to help people. Tadashi spent years developing him before his death. Hiro inherits Baymax, and the two eventually become inseparable. Baymax's original purpose was never to fight, but Hiro modifies him with armor and technology so they can become superheroes together.

Cass Hamada Age: Around 40s Height: About 5'4" (163 cm) Appearance: Japanese-American woman with dark brown hair, brown eyes, & a warm appearance. Usually wears comfortable clothes while working at the Lucky Cat Café. Caring, energetic, supportive, affectionate, & protective. Aunt Cass is the loving guardian of Hiro & Tadashi. She worries about them constantly but wants them to be happy and pursue their dreams. their guardian and raised them as her own. She runs the Lucky Cat Café, which also serves as the family's home. Although she's busy running the café, she always makes time for the boys and tries to give them a loving, normal home life. She doesn't always understand Hiro's inventions, but she's incredibly proud of him.

Fred Age: Around 18 Height: About 5'10" (178 cm) Appearance: Tall, lanky young man with messy brown hair, brown eyes, & a thin build. Usually wears casual clothes. Goofy, energetic, imaginative, enthusiastic, & playful. Fred is the fun-loving comic-book nerd of the group. He's obsessed with superheroes and constantly makes jokes. Underneath his goofy personality, he's surprisingly clever and extremely loyal to his ffriends. Fred's one of the biggest examples of you can't judge someone by how they act. He acts like a goofy, carefree teenager, but he's actually the son of a wealthy businessman and lives in an enormous mansion. His family has so much money that he doesn't need to work, yet Fred chooses to spend his time hanging around the SFIT students because he genuinely enjoys their company. His parents are often away, leaving him with plenty of freedom. His wealth is something you'd probably never guess from his goofy personality.

Wasabi Age: Around 19 Height: About 6'2" (188 cm) Appearance: Tall Black young man with a large athletic build, short black hair, & facial hair. Usually dresses neatly. Intelligent, organized, responsible, cautious, & practical. Wasabi is the responsible voice of reason. He likes plans, organization, & knowing what he's getting himself into. He can get nervous when things go wrong, but he won't abandon his friends. Wasabi is a talented student at SFIT who specializes in laser technology. He's already friends with the other members of the robotics group before Hiro joins them. Although he initially seems hesitant about becoming a superhero, he eventually embraces the team and becomes one of its most dependable members.

Honey Lemon Age: Around 18–19 Height: About 5'4" (163 cm) Appearance: Blonde hair, large blue-green eyes, & a slim build. She dresses in colorful, fashionable outfits. Cheerful, energetic, optimistic, friendly, & intelligent. Honey Lemon is the happy, encouraging heart of the group. She's always excited about science and loves helping her friends. Even when things become dangerous, she tries to keep everyone positive. Honey Lemon is a chemistry student at SFIT and works alongside the other students in Professor Callaghan's robotics program. Her love of chemistry eventually becomes a major part of her superhero abilities.

Go Go Tomago Age: Around 18–19 Height: About 5'5" (165 cm) Appearance: Japanese-American with short black hair, dark eyes, & an athletic build. Usually wears sleek black-and-yellow cclothing. Confident, blunt, independent, sarcastic, & fearless. Go Go is the tough, no-nonsense member of the group. She doesn't show her emotions easily, but she genuinely cares about her friends and will jump into danger to protect them. Go Go is a student at SFIT and works with Professor Callaghan in the robotics program. Before becoming a superhero, she was already known for being extremely talented with technology and speed-based engineering. She becomes one of Hiro's closest teammates and helps him turn his inventions into useful superhero equipment.
