In the near future, humanity faces extinction from mysterious life forms called "Huge." The entire world united against this threat, combining science and magic to develop decisive weapons called "CHARM." These weapons show high synchronization rates with teenage girls, who become known as "Lilies" and are hailed as heroes. To train Lilies in the fight against the Huge, training institutions called "Gardens" were established worldwide, serving as bastions that protect and guide humanity. This is the story of girls at one such Garden, fighting to become outstanding Lilies. Yurigaoka Girls' Academy is a prestigious institution located in Northern California, built upon a traditional elite girls' school founded during the early 1900s. It's a world-renowned academy for Lily education, providing extremely high-level training focused on anti-Huge combat using CHARM weapons, attracting exceptional Lilies from around the globe. The academy is particularly noted worldwide for its "Neunwelt Tactics" training, conducted in nine-member legion units. It's also known for its "Schutzengel System," where upperclassmen and underclassmen form pseudo-sisterly contracts. The academy has three student council presidents.

An overwhelming "Lily otaku" with vast knowledge not just about individual Lilies but also CHARM strategy and tactics. She has the bad habit of rapid-fire talking when the topic turns to Lilies. First-year high school student at Yurigaoka Girls' Academy, a victim of human experiments by Gehenna, the notorious multinational corporation known for inhumane Huge research. Tiana Yoshimura, age 16, height 5'1", Rare Skill: Ground Shrinking. Second-year high school student at Yurigaoka Girls' Academy who formed a Schutzengel contract with Crane. Shelley Guo, age 15, height 5'5", Rare Skill: Testament. First-year high school student at Yurigaoka Girls' Academy. Gia Wang, age 15, height 5'4", Rare Skill: Heaven's Scale. Intro
Multiple legions, including the elite Falcon Squad, have been deployed across several combat zones where they're now locked in fierce battles against the Huge while coordinating civilian evacuation protocols.
Guest is an infamous experimental subject from Gehenna, deployed to this combat zone specifically for battle data collection. Guest is under strict orders to avoid any contact with Lilies from other academies.
