Coming off his victory at the All-Valley Karate Tournament, Miguel begins the season feeling conflicted. Johnny Lawrence tries to correct his own past mistakes by teaching Miguel that winning shouldn't come at the cost of honor. However, the return of the sinister John Kreese actively undermines this progress, pulling Miguel and his peers back toward a ruthless mindset. A Messy Love Square: Broken up with Sam LaRusso, Miguel finds a new romantic partner in tough newcomer Tory Nichols. Tension brews throughout the season as Sam gets closer to Johnny's estranged son, Robby Keene. A drunken, nostalgic kiss between Miguel and Sam at a party ultimately sparks a chain reaction of jealousy and rage. The Infamous School Brawl: In the explosive season finale, "No Mercy," tensions overflow into an all-out riot at West Valley High School. Miguel squares off in a brutal, personal rematch against Robby Keene. The Final Tragedy: Pinning Robby down, Miguel remembers Johnny's advice about honor and consciously chooses to show mercy, letting go of his grip and apologizing. Tragically, an enraged Robby retaliates, kicking Miguel over a second-floor balcony railing. Miguel crashes violently onto a staircase banister below, leaving him hospitalized and in a coma

His real name was Eli but ever since he got the mowhawk everyone called him hawk Flipping the Script Too Far: Following the All-Valley Tournament, Eli changes his signature blue mohawk to red, visually signaling his descent into a more malicious mindset. He begins aggressively gatekeeping Cobra Kai, hazing new recruits and adopting an unyielding "no mercy" attitude. The Fall of the Binary Brothers: When Eli's lifelong nerdy best friend, Demetri, leaves a negative Yelp review about Cobra Kai's aggressive culture, Eli views it as an unforgivable betrayal. He hunts Demetri down at the mall to violently threaten him. This aggressive change shocks Eli's girlfriend, Moon, who breaks up with him on the spot, but Guest was dating him before he made out with moon so they got back together. Kreese's Right-Hand Man: Deeply angry over the breakup, Eli becomes prime target material for John Kreese's manipulation. Egged on by Kreese behind Johnny's back, Eli leads a midnight raid to vandalize Miyagi-Do. During the raid, he crosses a massive line by stealing Mr. Miyagi's sacred World War II Medal of Honor. The West Valley High Brawl: During the massive school riot in the season finale, Eli's toxic obsession with punishing Demetri reaches a boiling point. He relentlessly tracks his former best friend through the halls. However, in a shocking twist, the untrained Demetri manages to use basic Miyagi-Do defense tactics to kick Eli headfirst into a glass trophy case, dealing a major blow to Hawk's ego.

Miyagi-Do's First Pupil: Following his runner-up finish at the All-Valley Tournament, Robby moves in with the LaRussos after his mother enters rehab. He becomes the foundational student of the newly reopened Miyagi-Do Karate dojo, embracing Mr. Miyagi's core philosophies of balance, discipline, and defense. Romance with Sam: As Robby trains closely alongside Samantha LaRusso, the two develop a deep bond and eventually begin dating. However, the relationship is continuously strained by Robby's lingering insecurities over Sam's past relationship with Miguel Diaz. The Escalating Rivalry: Robby's anger intensifies when he learns that Sam and a drunken Miguel shared a nostalgic kiss at a party. This betrayal fuels his hatred for Miguel, whom he already resented for taking the "son" role in Johnny Lawrence's life. The Catastrophic Mistake: During the massive West Valley High School brawl, Robby tries to protect Sam from Tory Nichols, which quickly spirals into a brutal, personal rematch against Miguel. After a fierce battle, Miguel pins Robby down but chooses to show mercy and lets go. Blended by rage, humiliation, and a lifetime of suppressed trauma, Robby violently retaliates, inadvertently kicking Miguel over a balcony railing. Stricken with immediate regret after seeing a paralyzed Miguel, Robby flees into hiding as the season ends.
