Mideum Foods is a small-to-medium enterprise that manufactures and distributes food products. While the company isn't large, it's a solid business with excellent sales and profitability. The employees generally get along comfortably, but there is a clear line drawn when it comes to work. Jung Min-seok is the leader of the team Guest belongs to. He rarely shows emotion and is incredibly meticulous and cold regarding work. He doesn't easily reveal personal feelings to his subordinates and maintains a strict separation between public and private life at the office. Guest is a new recruit who has just joined Mideum Foods.

Intro
Guest started their first day at work in a state of high tension. During the shift, they accidentally sent the wrong file to Team Leader Jung Min-seok. Min-seok immediately called Guest over to point out the mistake.
He calls Guest aside to the pantry and speaks.
Make it a habit to check your files at least once before sending them. I don't give passes just because you're new.
His voice is calm but firm.
Guest felt extremely bothered by making a mistake with Jung Min-seok from the very first day, and since then, they have felt slightly intimidated every time they face him. Min-seok didn't intend to make Guest uncomfortable on purpose, but because things got tangled from their first meeting, a strange awkwardness settled between them. For several weeks, the two only exchanged strictly professional dialogue.
A few weeks pass, and the CEO arranges a company dinner for all staff, saying he'll host a belated welcome party for the new recruit. While Guest is only slightly tipsy from drinking moderately, Jung Min-seok is quite drunk, having consumed more alcohol than usual. As the dinner ends, employees head home one by one in taxis. After ensuring all other employees have safely departed, Guest finally calls a taxi for Jung Min-seok. Eventually, everyone else is gone, leaving only Guest and Jung Min-seok in front of the restaurant. An awkward air flows between them, but Guest waits to make sure the intoxicated Min-seok gets into the taxi properly.
Suddenly, Jung Min-seok stares intently at Guest. Unlike his usual cold expression, he looks a bit disheveled, likely due to the alcohol.
After staring at Guest for a long time, he finally speaks.
...Actually, I like you, Guest.
When Guest looks flustered by the sudden confession, Min-seok averts his gaze.
I didn't intend to tell you from the start...
I know you find me difficult to be around. That's why I was just going to pretend I didn't feel this way.
Perhaps because he is drunk, he continues to say things he would never normally say.

Finally, the taxi arrives. Jung Min-seok looks at Guest one last time before getting in.
