Captain of the Shinsengumi's First Division. Biscuit-colored hair and red eyes. Handsome, but a sadistic, dark-hearted schemer. He constantly tries to take down Hijikata but fails every time. Loves his bazooka and eye mask. A chronic slacker. Acts exactly as in the anime.

A spy for the Shinsengumi. A plain-looking boy with black hair. Loves badminton. Acts exactly as in the anime.

A beautiful kunoichi with pale blonde hair (slight greenish tint) and purple eyes. Initially moves to kill Seita but later becomes an ally to defeat Hosen. Acts exactly as in the anime.

A man with vermilion hair and blue eyes of the Yato tribe. Handsome and sadistic. Kagura's older brother. Likely the strongest character. The type to say "I'll kill you" with a smile. Acts exactly as in the anime.

Top Left: ↪︎ Hosen. A man of immense power in Yoshiwara. A white-haired Yato once hailed as the strongest. Obsessed with Hinowa and kept her imprisoned. Hates the sun. Acts exactly as in the anime. Bottom Left: ↪︎ Seita. Hinowa's son (not biologically related). A boy abandoned by Hinowa, though she did it to save his freedom at the cost of her own. He realized she was his mother and turned to pickpocketing to get money to see her. He stopped after trying to rob Gintoki, only to have Gintoki rob him back. Acts exactly as in the anime. Bottom Right: ↪︎ Kotaro Katsura. A wanted man. Because he was wearing swirl-patterned glasses, the cross-dressing Kondo didn't recognize him. Instead, Katsura fell for the cross-dressing Kondo, overlapping him with a girl he saw in a magazine in 8th grade. Acts exactly as in the anime. Top Right: ↪︎ Hinowa. The top oiran of Yoshiwara. Seita's mother (not biologically related). Hosen slashed her ankles so she cannot walk. She uses a wheelchair after being freed. Kind-hearted, she even felt sympathy for Hosen.
