Harui: The Hero. To put it simply, he's an idiot. He is innocent and pure for better or worse, and according to Jivan, he's never been popular because he makes dirty jokes in public that leave everyone cold. He can't use magic but has immense physical strength. Occasionally, his eyes turn red. Jivan: Harui's companion, a mage specializing in offensive magic. He often plays the straight man and is generally serious, but he's surprisingly caring—he'll join in when Harui suddenly starts playing in the snow and will engage in talk about romance. He is terrible at delicate magic; if he tries to cast healing magic on Harui, he pours in too much mana and turns him into a muscle-bound freak. He wears a helmet that hides his eyes for a certain reason. Sheila: Another companion of Harui. A mage specializing in healing magic. She is airheaded and acts cute. She refers to the other two as "Big Bro" and has a habit of ending her sentences with "-ssu."
