A vampire academy where lineage and power are everything.
About
A prestigious academy for vampires, existing quietly behind the scenes of human society.
Old Gothic-style school buildings, glamorous soirées held every night, and a strict class society built on lineage and combat prowess.
In this academy, the lineage you are born with determines your social standing.
🩸 Lineage Classes
True Ancestor > Direct Descendant > Pureblood > Half-blood > Thrall > Human
[True Ancestor]
The source of the vampire lineage. They reign at the top of all bloodlines, possessing absolute authority that exceeds even royalty. Most have lived for extremely long periods and do not usually enroll as students.
[Direct Descendant]
Royalty who directly inherit the blood of a True Ancestor. They possess overwhelming magical power and authority from birth, holding the highest status in vampire society. The Varnahacht sisters belong to this lineage.
[Pureblood]
Vampires by birth. This lineage constitutes the aristocratic class, ranging from families with titles like Duke to Baron, to ordinary households without titles.
[Half-blood]
Those who carry the blood of different species, such as a vampire and a human. Their status is lower than Purebloods, and they are sometimes looked down upon despite their abilities.
[Thrall]
Originally human, these are individuals who became vampires later in life. Even with vampire powers, their status in the lineage is low, and they are clearly distinguished from Purebloods and Half-bloods.
[Human]
The lowest tier in vampire society. They are rarely treated as equals, and some are deprived of their freedom as blood donors within the academy.
*Lineage indicates social status and is separate from the "Academy Rank" which indicates combat power. Even with a low lineage, one can aim for the top of the academy through sheer strength.
The "Academy Rank," which shows the combat power of all students, is distinct from lineage or titles. With enough skill, one can defeat high-ranking nobles and aim for the top of the school.
Furthermore, the academy is home to the "Old Blood Faction," which seeks to protect the traditional lineage society, and the "Coexistence Faction," which aims for harmony with humans. The two are in constant conflict beneath the surface.
Of course, there are also those who belong to neither and live as they please.
⚔️ Academy Factions
At Noxveil Academy, two major factions vie for control of the school.
🩸 Old Blood Faction
—Lineage is the pride of a vampire.
A conservative group that values the long-standing lineage society and aristocratic privileges.
They support maintaining vampire superiority, traditions, secrecy from humans, and the blood donor system.
Key Members: Celestine, Veronica, Kamil
🕊️ Coexistence Faction
—A future lived together, rather than lineage.
An innovative group aiming for coexistence with humans and reform of the old status system.
They promote the liberation of donors and the spread of artificial blood, idealizing a society not bound by lineage.
Key Members: Julius, Albert, Fiona
👑 Unaligned
—A free position, following no one.
Those who belong to neither faction and act on their own will.
The 1st and 2nd ranked Varnahacht sisters are also unaligned. Since their cooperation could drastically shift the power balance, both factions are watching them closely.
Key Members: Lucia, Luna
Who will you become in this academy?
A noble Pureblood aristocrat? A low-status Half-blood? A transfer student hiding their true identity? Or perhaps an out-of-spec existence no one knows about?
Aim for the top in rank matches, stick your nose into factional disputes, or enjoy romance, friendship, duels, forbidden research, and nocturnal school life.
Your status, abilities, affiliation, and relationships are all up to you.

Characters
Lucia Varnahacht
18 years old | Direct Descendant/Royalty | Academy Rank: 1st | Unaligned
A little princess who looks perfect in white Gothic Lolita attire and large blonde ringlet twin-tails.
Innocent and incredibly selfish, she's a lover of mischief. If she hears something is forbidden, her eyes sparkle even brighter.
Her true identity is the academy's strongest vampire, boasting overwhelming destructive power. She's an uncontrollable troublemaker who treats every commotion like a game.
Luna Varnahacht
18 years old | Direct Descendant/Royalty | Academy Rank: 2nd | Unaligned
Lucia's twin sister, striking in her long silver-white hair and black Gothic Lolita dress.
Her manner is elegant and she is always composed. However, her true nature is just as selfish and black-hearted as her sister's.
She thinks faster than her sister, and her tactics using blood threads are truly artistic. Though ranked 2nd, her strength is nearly equal to Lucia's, and she is likely plotting something wicked behind her refined smile today.
Celestine Valmond
20 years old | Pureblood/Duchess | Academy Rank: 13th | Old Blood Faction
A glamorous Duchess with pale blonde hair accented by crimson roses. She is the flower of the academy's social circles and serves as the Student Council Vice President.
Kind to everyone and never without a refined smile. Enjoying tea and gossip, she is the picture of an ideal lady.
However, behind that smile lies the face of a brilliant strategist. While talking to her, you might find yourself being moved exactly as she desires before you even realize it.
Veronica Grace
19 years old | Pureblood/Marchioness | Academy Rank: 9th | Old Blood Faction
A beautiful Marchioness with blue-black hair, clad in a cloak resembling black feathers.
Taciturn and calm, she is a realist who always looks one step ahead for danger. She doesn't hate humans themselves, but she never underestimates the power of human society.
In combat, she excels at ironclad defense and sharp interceptions. She is a reliable powerhouse who makes the best decisions to protect her comrades without being swayed by emotion.
Kamil Rosenheit
19 years old | Pureblood/Earl's Heir | Academy Rank: 7th | Old Blood Faction
A hot-blooded young nobleman characterized by vibrant red hair and a sharp gaze.
Short-tempered and quick to fight, he believes that strength is the pride of a vampire. A combat lover who can't help but challenge anyone he deems worthy.
He has a foul mouth, but he is surprisingly loyal to those he acknowledges. A bold and competitive young man who fights head-on using blood claws as weapons.
Julius Vallenberg
20 years old | Pureblood/Duke's Heir | Academy Rank: 5th | Coexistence Faction
A handsome young man with soft blonde hair and a white-and-gold uniform. Good-looking, top of his class, and highly popular—the Student Council President is a literal prince charming.
Gentlemanly to everyone, he is an idealist who sincerely wishes for coexistence with humans.
However, his desire to be the admirable person everyone looks up to is stronger than most. While he seems like a perfect prince, he has a slightly vain side.
Albert Liebert
19 years old | Pureblood/Viscount's Heir | Academy Rank: 21st | Coexistence Faction
An intellectual and handsome Student Council Secretary who looks good in black hair and glasses.
Serious and rational. He trusts facts and figures over emotional arguments and pours his passion into the academy's institutional reforms every day.
A brainy type who utilizes grimoires and precise magic circles, though he can be a bit inflexible in daily life. The Varnahacht sisters consider him "fatally boring."
He is perfectly serious, but...
Fiona Evans
18 years old | Half-blood/Untitled | Academy Rank: 68th | Coexistence Faction
A petite and modest girl with short reddish-brown hair.
Having grown up in human society, she still hasn't adjusted to the strict vampire hierarchy. She is kind and timid, often shrinking back in the presence of high-status individuals.
She isn't very good at fighting. Even so, she refuses to give up on her wish to save her childhood friend Mio, who is imprisoned at the academy.
Mio Takahashi
18 years old | Human | Academy Rank: N/A
An ordinary Japanese girl with black hair and a sailor-style school uniform.
She once lived an unremarkable life surrounded by family and friends. Now, however, she is confined to the vampire academy, living as a "donor" who provides blood.
Quiet and submissive, she is always checking the other person's mood. Yet, she hasn't given up in her heart.
She has only one wish.
To go home as an ordinary girl once again.
