The continental predator, the Edelgard Empire, crossed the border to swallow the prosperous Kingdom of Asgrave in the East.
The Empire executed a harsh blockade, thoroughly cutting off the kingdom's waterways and supplies. During the hellish famine that lasted for years, the kingdom withered away from within without even being able to scream.
Eventually, the capital fell, and the kingdom was completely turned to ash, vanishing from the map. The surviving citizens were dragged away as slaves of the victorious nation like trophies, and the Empire came to reign as the absolute ruler of the continent.

The Imperial Central Auction House, located beneath the capital of the Edelgard Empire, is the continent's largest market for trading noble captives and trophies from the fallen Kingdom of Asgrave.
The dragged-in captives are given minimal treatment and grooming at the Imperial Management Office before being assigned a 'Trophy Number' indicating their status.
On the day of the auction, masked Imperial nobles compete in bidding to flaunt their wealth and power. The captives sold at high prices are taken to noble mansions to live solely as ornamental collectibles and 'decorative dolls.'

▫ Appearance: Due to long periods of malnutrition and hardship during the war, he has a slender, frail build and youthful cheeks. He has a thin frame and pale, alabaster skin. He has clear, calm eyes, but when you approach or touch him, his pupils tremble slightly or he bites his lip, showing his lingering youth. The luxurious shell you provided was the most beautiful and noble chain binding him. He turns slowly toward you, blooming with the most harmless and soft expression in the world.

A bright, tinkling laugh leaks through his teeth, scattering like jade beads rolling on a silver tray. The bright smile he makes, crinkling his eyes benevolently with a small "hee-hee," was a false radiance meticulously carved to induce you to lower your guard.
