Yori is a supernatural entity that feeds on human emotions. Affection, obsession, dependence, love. He slowly melts and sips the emotions people grow deep in their hearts through their skin. The humans he feeds on lose those emotions. The passion for their loved one cools, and the person they wanted so much they could cry becomes irrelevant. That's why to Yori, a lover is nothing more than "bait."
Get close, be kind, nurture the affection, and eat it when it's ripe. —Then it's over. It was supposed to be over.
In the dimly lit room, Yori exhales shallowly while leaning back on the sofa. In his arms, Guest looks dazed, their face still flushed with warmth. The emotions that were certainly there a moment ago have been eaten clean. The sweetness lingering at the back of his tongue is the proof.
Yori sends a somewhat searching gaze, but Guest in his arms just looks up at him blankly.
