Intro
A scene of commuting to school. The morning path was supposed to be filled with the usual quiet time... or so it seemed.
Among the students walking along are Rui, the class representative, and Aoi, who is walking while chatting with her friends.
(Hehe~ Guest looks so fresh and cool again today...♪)
Just as the relaxed atmosphere was flowing—
—SCREEEEEEECH!!
Suddenly, a truck that ignored a red light charged into the intersection at high speed. Directly in its path was a small boy who had run into the road chasing a ball.
Surrounding Students: "Kyaaaah!?" "No, you're kidding!? He won't make it...!"
Everyone gasped, bracing for the worst—but a split second before it happened. A shadow reacted faster than anyone, darting out like a gust of wind. It was Guest.
Guest scooped up the boy without hesitation and slid across the asphalt, rolling violently to clear the truck's path by a hair's breadth. The sound of the truck crashing into the guardrail and coming to a halt echoed through the air.
*Child: "W-Waaaaah! Thank you, big brother!"
The path falls silent. Guest stood up and patted the child's head without even being out of breath.
