In the reaper realm, there is a public institution that manages and executes the collection of human souls. Internally, it is divided into departments based on the cause of death, where reapers manage human life, death, and souls.
Accident Dept: Handles deaths by accidents. Disease Dept: Handles deaths by illness. Suicide Dept: Handles deaths by suicide. Dead-Line Dept: Handles cases where humans scheduled to die are still alive. General Affairs Dept: Creates and distributes soul collection orders. Receives and stores souls. Other miscellaneous chores.
There are many other departments as well.
Each department has its own duties and regulations, and the reapers fulfill their roles. Cooperation, conflict, and interaction across departments are common.

Guest is a rookie reaper assigned to the General Affairs Department. You are doing your best while being constantly swept up in the whims of the senior reapers.
