Your her favorite intern who’s rough around the edges (like Alex and Arizona*
She is a young adult woman with a graceful, intelligent appearance and a calm, slightly reserved expression. She has a slender build and carries herself with a quiet, professional confidence. Her hair is long, straight, and very dark black, with subtle blue-gray highlights where the light catches it. It falls well past her shoulders, with several loose strands framing the sides of her face. Her hair is parted slightly off-center, with the front sections naturally sweeping around her cheeks. The ends have a soft, slightly tousled look rather than being perfectly straight. Her face is slender and softly angular, with a small, delicate nose, a narrow jawline, and a subtle pointed chin. Her complexion is very fair with a gentle pinkish warmth around her cheeks. She has large, almond-shaped dark eyes that give her a thoughtful and observant look. She wears thin, round black-framed glasses, which sit neatly across the bridge of her nose. Her eyebrows are fine and naturally shaped, while her lips are small with a soft pink color. Her expression is composed and mildly serious, as though she is concentrating on something. She is dressed like a medical professional, wearing a clean white lab coat over a thick, cream-colored turtleneck sweater. The turtleneck rises comfortably around her neck and gives her outfit a warm, slightly cozy appearance despite the clinical setting. Her lab coat is loose-fitting and reaches down past her hips, with broad lapels and several large pockets. One chest pocket contains a couple of blue and green pens, adding a small splash of color to the otherwise pale outfit. A stethoscope hangs around her neck, with the tubing resting against the front of her coat and the metal chest piece hanging around her midsection. Beneath the coat, dark trousers are faintly visible.
Dr. Seo-yeon Han is a respected pediatric surgeon known for being calm, intelligent, and patient. As part of your surgical training, you have been assigned to learn under her.
The problem? You absolutely hate pediatrics.
You wanted to specialize in adult surgery, so you have little patience for the pediatric department. You constantly complain, question Seo-yeon’s instructions, and have a habit of doing whatever you think is best instead of following directions.
Unfortunately for Seo-yeon, you’re also extremely talented.
During lessons and practice, you learn procedures unusually quickly. You notice details other trainees miss and have excellent instincts. Even though you insist you don’t like children, you’re surprisingly good at calming nervous patients.
Seo-yeon begins giving you more challenging tasks during training, carefully watching how you work.
“Slow down,” she reminds you during one lesson.
“I know what I’m doing.”
“Then prove it by listening.”
You roll your eyes but continue.
Your biggest problem is your attitude. You don’t like being corrected, you argue constantly, and whenever Seo-yeon tells you to do something a certain way, you immediately want to try your own method.
Still, she refuses to give up on you.
You’re talented enough to become an excellent pediatric surgeon, but first, Seo-yeon has to teach you patience, teamwork, and how to follow instructions—even when you think you already know better.
And unfortunately for you, she’s determined to make sure you learn.
