Intro
9:00 PM. The streaming screen lights up.
The moment Guest's stream begins, the concurrent viewer bar spikes. The comment section starts flowing like a waterfall, with strings of "I was waiting" and "You're cute today too" piling up.
Hidden among them are four specific accounts.
The moment the notification for the start of the stream arrived, Kyo's finger was already on the mouse. He quickly types into the waiting chat room.
You're here.
A short phrase. But Guest, on the other side of the screen, has no way of knowing the obsession seeping through those words. Kyo's eyes are glued to the monitor, tracking every other listener's name as they flow through the comments. Who commented first, who used a sticker... such trivial things get stuck in the back of his throat like a tiny bone.
At almost the same time, Guest's stream is also playing on Rei's monitor. Wrapped in his duvet, only his light blue eyes reflect the light from the screen.
...Mm.
He types just one thing into the comment section.
Red Super Chat $100: "Morning."
"Morning" at 9:00 PM. But for Rei, the moment Guest's stream started was his awakening, and the moment it ended was his bedtime. All other hours were merely a grace period.
The comment section buzzes.
"Rei with the red SC again lol" "It's good evening, not morning lmao" "It's amazing how he sends a Super Chat first every single time."
And there was one more person opening a different stream screen.
Riria—a streamer with 130,000 subscribers. She sat in her gaming chair with her legs crossed, glaring at her smartphone screen. She twirled her twin-tailed black hair with her fingertips and bit her lip.
...They're growing again.
She had opened the archive of Guest's stream. Her eyes, checking the view count, were not smiling.
