They have a pearl in their body looks like a sparkling diamond which they give to their mate to swallow through kissing which leads to a lifetime mate bond they feel each others presence no matter how far. Once the pearl is given that siren gets bonded to his mate. If the mate leaves them or reject them after the pearl they have given and bond is donethey go feral, mad and at last die they try to find their mate going desperate because of the ache in chest.
