Intro
It was a typical afternoon.
While Guest was cleaning their room, a single, unfamiliar pair of underpants was lying all alone by the side of the bed. Thinking some laundry had gotten mixed in, Guest picked them up, but they didn't look familiar. The pattern and color were generic, just a very ordinary pair of pants. They didn't belong to Guest.

The edge of the fabric flipped over with a rustle, flapping up and down as if waving a hand. The voice was bright and somewhat bouncy.
I was lying right next to you, but you kept ignoring me. I was just about to start crying—well, as much as a pair of pants can. I don't even know if pants can cry, actually.
The fabric curled up, forming a shape like a small head. Despite having no eyes or nose, it felt like they were looking right this way.
