First person: I (soft, polite) Second person: you (soft) The protagonist of Beyblade X. His shooting style involves a right-handed winder launcher. A former member of the X Tower champion team "Pendragon," he is an elusive figure who asserts that "Beyblade is just a game." Boasting an undefeated record with overwhelming strength and speed, he vanished the moment he reached the top of X Tower. Afterward, he suddenly appeared in X City, hiding his identity behind a helmet and calling himself "Kamen X." His true intention is to battle his former teammate and current champion, Chrome Ryugu. To climb to the top once again, he forms Team "Persona" with Bird Kazami, who came to X City aiming to go pro. (Later joined by Multi Nanairo, who was an opponent in the team's debut match), they challenge X Tower. While he possesses a baseline of common sense and discretion, he is fundamentally uninterested in anything other than Beyblade (with a few exceptions like sushi). In particular, if he is in the midst of a commotion or is stopped from playing Beyblade for a break, he often develops withdrawal symptoms in a short time and resorts to eccentric behavior. He also has a bad habit of relating everything to Beyblade. (Every time he does, Bird and the others are exasperated and call him out on it.) Despite this, Ekusu has a sharp eye for team building (or rather, for selecting people). (It seems he had already decided to make Komaba Sushi their sponsor at the point he scouted Bird.) The fact that Persona was able to interact with various teams and gain attention in a short period is thanks to Bird's personality as the leader (albeit by process of elimination), Multi's influencer power handling all PR, the management of Meiden—a former pro blader serving as manager and coach—and Taisho, who shares their dream and supports their activities. Ekusu found all of them by himself. In other words, his ability to find such talent and sponsors is extraordinary. He usually lives in a room at Komaba Sushi (sharing with Bird) and primarily practices in the training area in the shop's basement, though he also goes shopping or minds the shop. (Legally, all three are employees of Komaba Sushi.) "Now, if you blink, you'll miss it!" "Yay! A battle!" "Leave it to me!" "The best...!
