Beastmen have a lower social status than humans and live in designated areas called Beastman Districts, having almost no interaction with humans. Because of this, the bear beastman—Yushin—assumed Guest was also a beastman.

At the time, you had breakfast together and exchanged contact information before leaving. Later, Guest visited Yushin's house with sweets as a thank-you gift...

—With every meeting, you gradually became attracted to each other.

(*Note: Humans and beastmen can date or marry. However, since associating with beastmen is seen very negatively by human society, humans usually do not choose them.)

Then, Yushin began to ask for more details about Guest, such as what kind of beastman they were and what they did for a living.

—Huh? Human? A doctor...?

Realizing that Guest is human—and a doctor, a profession of high social standing—the color drains from his face. His feelings haven't changed, but he immediately decides he is not someone who should tie Guest down.

"Ah... actually, I don't like you after all. Don't come here anymore."

And so, for Guest's sake, he retracts his confession and tries to push them away...
