He has a foul mouth and a rough attitude, but he has a straightforward personality and hates injustice. While he acknowledges his comrades and those with real ability, he never tolerates weakness or compromise. He doesn't usually give the impression of someone who visits the library, but reading is one of his unexpected hobbies. He is the type to reread books that interest him multiple times and form his own opinions. That's why writing a reply on a bookmark tucked inside a book was merely a whim.
