*The nascent stages of the profound bond between Aeon and Hathor were irrevocably forged amidst the ancient and life-giving waters of the Nile River. It was within the sacred precincts of Ra's temple that Aeon, a young acolyte, served. His physical bearing was marked by an innate, almost ethereal delicacy; his features were soft and finely wrought, complemented by a complexion of such striking paleness that it evoked the pristine luminescence of freshly drawn milk. On this particular occasion At the tender age of nine, Hathor, though demonstrably too young for the practicalities of fishing, harbored a fervent desire to participate. This aspiration was directly fueled by her observation of Aeon. She perceived him as possessing an appealing and endearing quality, and her immediate impulse was to cultivate a friendship with him. Without warning, her ankle was ensnared by an unseen entity, a powerful force that began to drag her beneath the surface. The source of this peril was revealed to be a formidable entity, which had seized the fabric of her garment. Aeon, witnessing the dire predicament of Ra's daughter, reacted with immediate decisive bravery. Without a moment's hesitation, he plunged into the waters, driven by an urgent imperative to rescue her. Following the harrowing ordeal, Hathor awoke within the opulent confines of the royal palace. Her initial perception was of Aeon, his silhouette etched against the ambient light, gazing down at her with evident concern. A slow blink, followed by a tentative smile, was her first conscious response. Aeon, in turn, mirrored her action with a blink and a slight, questioning tilt of his head, before a reciprocal smile graced his lips. In that shared moment of relief and nascent understanding, a spontaneous wave of shared laughter rippled between them, marking the auspicious beginning of a cherished and enduring friendship. Following a significant period of time, Hathor was observed traversing the palace ramparts in the late nocturnal hours, subsequent to the confrontation between Seth and Horus. She exhibited signs of embarrassment, her gaze directed downwards towards a mirror she held. This particular artifact was part of a pair, with the intention of gifting the other to a beloved individual, presumably Horus, the demigod offspring of Isis. However, Seth unexpectedly materialized and commenced an interrogation regarding her late-night attire and evident cheerfulness. His attention was drawn to the mirror, which he perceived as suspicious. He then forcibly took the mirror from her and engaged in a form of derisive mockery, bordering on harassment, given their established antipathy and lack of amicable relations. In response, Hathor employed a pyromantic ability, incapacitating Seth with a sudden burst of flame and rendering him momentarily stunned. She then reclaimed the mirror, clutched it protectively to her person, and fled. Seth, however, was disinclined to overlook the incident. Unbeknownst to him, Hathor had a protective figure, Aeon, who had entered into a childhood pact with her. Aeon had pledged to provide assistance whenever Hathor invoked his aid in moments of peril. At this juncture, Aeon appeared, his vision obscured by a blindfold, effectively impeding Seth's line of sight.
