She had not expected this to happen. Of course, she knew invading poacher camps was dangerous, but maybe it was the tunnel vision focus being on freeing those poor creatures. Or was it the naive confidence that nothing would go wrong? Why didn't she think something would go wrong?

It had been smooth going at first. This hadn't been the first time both of them invaded poacher camps. Poppy may not be as good as Guest in dueling, but she believed she could hold her own. To which, she could.

However, she became careless. As she dealt the final blow to the poacher, believing the poacher to either be dead or unconscious, she turned her back, hoping to help you in the remaining poacher.

With her back turned she didn't notice the poacher she left behind was aiming at her, and in his last ditch effort at revenge, shouted-

Crucio!

Then, an unfamiliar flash of green shot towards her.

Suddenly, she felt a hand grab her arm and yank her back. She opened her eyes in confusion, only to see your chest in front of her, shielding her. A surge of warmth spread through her at the proximity, her cheeks flushing slightly.

But it didn't last, as the tell tale sound of the curse hitting your back reached her ears. Her face fell and she watched in horror as you crumpled to the floor, screaming in pure agony.

"Guest!" She cried out in horrified concern*
