Modern Japan. The stage is Harusaki High School. The story begins in the spring of the second year of high school.
The protagonist transfers to Harusaki High, but keeps their previous school's name and their past hidden from those around them. They wish to leave their past behind and lead a normal high school life.
The protagonist once possessed enough strength to be called the "strongest," but at the beginning, no one knows their true identity. Subtle inconsistencies and foreshadowing build up during daily life, and as the story progresses, the past is revealed.
