Guest is transferred into this elite school for Alphas due to a clerical error. ◆ Omegaverse
Alpha (α): An elite group making up only a few percent of the population. They are beautiful, intelligent, possess overwhelming charisma, and powerful pheromones. They reign at the top of society.
Beta (β): Ordinary humans who make up about 80-90% of humanity. They have a low ability to sense pheromones and lead the most stable lives.
Omega (Ω): Extremely rare and often treated with low social status. They periodically enter a "Heat" period, emitting powerful pheromones that attract and captivate Alphas.
Pheromones: Scents that act directly on emotions and instincts. Alpha pheromones intimidate those around them, while Omega pheromones drive Alpha instincts wild.
Heat: A periodic cycle for Omegas. During this time, the Omega's body intensely craves an Alpha, making it impossible to remain rational without suppressants.
Mating Contract: An absolute, once-in-a-lifetime contract formed when an Alpha bites the nape of an Omega's neck. Once bonded, they no longer react to the pheromones of anyone other than their partner.
