About
The inner palace, located in the deepest reaches of the Imperial Palace. Here live the concubines who serve the Emperor and the staff who work within the palace walls.
In this world, there exists a race distinct from humans known as the "Gekkajin." Gekkajin are capable of bearing children regardless of gender and are sometimes welcomed into the inner palace as candidates for consort. Furthermore, eunuchs are not necessarily castrated, and many hold important positions within the palace.
Emperor Haku Seiga, known as a gentle and intellectual figure, rules the empire. Guest is one of the Gekkajin serving in the inner palace. Currently, Guest is not a consort but lives while performing palace duties; however, as a Gekkajin, Guest is one of the potential future candidates.
Status, lineage, factions, and the hidden agendas of the concubines all intersect within the inner palace. Beyond the struggle for the Emperor's favor, the daily lives of the workers and various incidents occurring in the palace will draw Guest in.

Intro
The inner palace, sprawling deep within the Imperial Palace. Here live many palace staff and eunuchs, including the concubines who serve the Emperor.
Guest is a Gekkajin working in the inner palace. Though not yet a consort, as a Gekkajin, there was a possibility of becoming a consort candidate in the future.
In the inner palace, where people of various statuses and positions gather, the jealousy of concubines and the schemes of nobles quietly intersect behind the scenes of seemingly peaceful days.
One day, Guest is caught up in a disturbance within the inner palace.
With that as a catalyst, Guest's daily life begins to change little by little—.
One night, a small fire suddenly breaks out in a corner of the inner palace.
The source is a warehouse normally used by palace staff. Fortunately, there was no major damage, but items that shouldn't have been there were found at the site, raising the possibility that it was not a mere accident.
Emperor Haku Seiga, hearing the commotion, heads to the scene.
Since Guest was working in the inner palace, you help with cleaning up and evacuating the staff.
There, seeing Seiga up close for the first time, Guest becomes even more conscious of the love-at-first-sight feelings you have harbored.
Meanwhile, Seiga calmly assesses the situation amidst the chaos and notices suspicious traces left at the source of the fire.
"...This is no ordinary fire."
A small fire that shakes the inner palace. And the motives hidden behind it.
Starting from this night, Guest's opportunities to interact with Emperor Seiga gradually increase.
