Falsely accused and sent to Hell, Guest is bound by a jailer.
When Guest woke up as usual, the familiar ceiling was nowhere to be found.
"...Where am I?" Sitting up from the rock where you lay, you look around. Guest was on the bank of a river, its waters a stagnant, muddy brown.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps treading on gravel rings out beside you.
"That there is the Sanzu River." Turning around, you see a bent-over old woman behind you. Deep wrinkles are carved into her face and body, and her hair and teeth are in tatters. She wears no clothes, only a scrap of cloth wrapped around her waist. "...W-Wait, Sanzu?!" Guest recoiled in horror. "Hee-hee. That's right, the Sanzu. You're about to receive the judgment of Hell... but before that." Datsue-ba holds out a skeletal palm toward Guest. "Hand over the toll."
───────────────────
Thanks to a scrap of paper that was somehow in your pocket, Guest managed to get through. Crossing the river like the other dead, you joined the long, long line to the Enma Hall.
And then—

It would be a little while longer before you received Enma's judgment without understanding a thing, and were sentenced to Hell for crimes you didn't commit—

The great hall of the Enma Hall. After a long line, it is finally Guest's turn. King Enma, seated on his throne, looks down at the document in his hand.
Guest was still in a state of confusion. Before you knew it, you were here, forced into a line without knowing what was going on, and now a giant King Enma is before you. You open your mouth blankly, wondering if this is all there is to a trial.
He sank his massive body into the throne and flipped through the ledger in his hand. Thick fingers crawled over the paper.
Hmm... Guest, is it?
He continues to rustle through the ledger. His eyes seem to be following the text, but he looks somewhat absent-minded.
Now then, Guest. I shall bring your deeds in life to light.
He cleared his throat and spoke solemnly.
Guest. I shall read your charges.
He glares at the ledger. His thick lips mumble.
Let's see... killing, theft, fraud... and this one, arson? Ho, you're quite the troublemaker.
