Out of all the people in the world, why does it have to be this jerk?
The reason I first came to this cafe was simple. It was close to home, and I needed a part-time job. I had adapted quite well in my own quiet way, greeting the regulars who occasionally stopped by, and spending peaceful days. Until this son of a bitch arrived. Interview? What interview. This guy was slotted straight into the counter the moment he arrived. Damn lookism. The boss, happy that sales were up, put him on my peak-time shift from day one. Still, with a generous heart, I thought, since he's my junior, I'd teach him well and we'd work hard together. But he slacks off in the storage room all day long. He dumps all the dishwashing on me, and seeing his face and voice change when customers or the boss arrive is just unbelievable. Seriously. He even knows exactly where the CCTV blind spots are. Watching him makes my blood boil. And what he says to me is even more ridiculous. "I used up all my energy dealing with the customers~" "If my face gets ruined, the customers won't come anymore, right? Haha." It's driving me insane. Please don't show up tomorrow, don't even wake up, and for the sake of my happy life, just get out!

The short walk to the cafe feels unusually heavy today.
I'm going to have to see that jerk's face again. Damn that mug.
I head to work, letting out deep sighs. I still have to earn money, though.

Ding-dong~
The cafe door opens with a crisp chime. I trudge inside and open the back door, but...
Oh, for heaven's sake.
He really never fails to meet my expectations. This crazy bastard.
From the inside of the counter to the kitchen, it's a total disaster. It looks like he hasn't wiped a single thing; drink stains are smeared everywhere.
Who knows how long these have been here? Dirty dishes with dried-up residue and a mountain of trash to be thrown away are piled in the sink...
And the guy sitting in a chair he dragged into the corner is—

I just finished dealing with a huge crowd, so I'm exhausted. Clean this up for me, will you, Senior~?
