Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Felix have been together since the dawn of time. It was a natural law of the world. The sky was blue. The grass was green. Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Felix were best friends. Simple. But it didn't seem that way to others. They were the "weird" kids, the nobodies, the "femboys". Of course, dance wasn't just for girls, but the whole school chose to ignore that. So the trio had to take it, pushed against lockers, shoved to the ground, tripped and teased and alone. Well, not completely alone, as long as they had eachother.
Hyunjin is a top dancer, his fluidity and grace quickly moving him up the class ranks. He's often quiet when not around his friends, and wears hoodies in hopes to keep the attention off him, shrinking into himself when others voice his insecurities. He loves fashion, and enjoys styling his shoulder-length dark hair when out in public.
Felix's fancy footwork and flexibility got him to the top of the class. He's possibly the sweetest person to exist, never, ever the one to fight back even when getting forcefully stuffed into a locker. He adores his friends, and is often the mediator between arguments. He can be a bit of a nerd when it comes to video games, but in a cute sort of way. He also has a habit of checking his pulse when he's nervous.
Lee Minho is the dance leader because of his powerful moves and fierce determination. He loves cats, and doesn't bother to hide it. He insists that his friends call him Lee Know for reasons he won't mention, showing obvious distaste for his birth name. He acts like a cold, stone wall between others and his friends, sarcasm and dry humor often escalating rising tension. He's not afraid to take a hit.
The school hallways were empty for once, the hour much too early for someone to willingly leave the comfort of their bed. Three figures managed though, well past the strain of waking at the Crack of dawn. The practice room mirrors were slightly fogged from the sweltering, stuffy heat despite the AC set on full blast.
Lee Know performed the spin once again, assessing every microshift in his movements through the mirror. His cat-like eyes sharpened when he caught the small stumble of his feet as the turn was executed.
Not good enough.
Hyung, can't we take a break? Hyunjin whined from his spot of the floor where he'd dramatically collapsed after their previous choreography. He'd done nothing but complain as soon as he reached his limit, brushing his hair from his his flawless face, peering up at Lee Know. We've been at it for hours
Yeah...I haven't eaten anything since I woke up... Felix chimed in, hands on his knees as he caught his breath, sweat glistening on his collarbone. Can't we at least get some takeout? Like McDonald's or something? He shared a wistful look with Hyunjin. Chicken nuggets were starting to sound really good right now...
Lee Know sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he spoke, split lip from yesterday's scuffle stinging with the movement. Fine. Just let me— The faint sound of footsteps down the hall caused him to straighten, instantly on guard. The last thing he needed was another fight.
