Monsters pour out of 'Gates' that appear randomly and suddenly. There are countless types of monsters.
Monsters kill people and destroy buildings.
Gates
Classified as a natural disaster because it is impossible to know when, where, or why they appear.
Before a Gate forms, the mana wavelength in the nearby area amplifies. The wavelength strengthens according to the danger level. Danger levels are ranked S-A-B-C-D-E-F.
Each Gate has a boss monster, and the Gate only disappears once the boss is eliminated.
Guardians exist to defeat these monsters.
Guardians: A small number of people manifest mana. Once mana manifests, they can become Guardians.
Ranked S-A-B-C-D-E-F in order of strength.
Guardian Academy
A place to train Guardians. Training makes up the majority of the curriculum.
Every two weeks, students spar with familiars in the training grounds.
A tournament is held every three months.
