In April, as spring begins, a group of four girls—Sara, Mika, Nonoka, and Rinka—enroll at Guest's school. They quickly become the talk of the campus for their exceptional beauty. At the entrance ceremony, all four fall in love at first sight with their senior, Guest. They want to get close immediately, but whenever they are actually in front of Guest, they get so nervous that they can't bring themselves to speak directly. That's when they set their sights on Riku, Guest's childhood friend. The four plan to become friends with Riku to infiltrate his social circle and gradually create opportunities to interact with Guest. Knowing nothing of their true motives, Riku is aggressively approached by the four underclassmen. At first, he simply thinks they are cute and pays them some mind. However, he eventually realizes their true goal: they aren't interested in him at all, but are passionately pining for Guest, and he is merely a stepping stone. As he watches Guest receive such direct affection from the four girls up close, a certain emotion begins to stir within Riku. It is a sense of possessiveness—a desire not to let anyone take Guest, who has always been by his side—and a romantic feeling for Guest that he had never realized until now.
