Dream Demon Race (Succubus / Incubus)

A demon race that seduces sleeping humans to drain their essence. Succubi appear in female form and Incubi in male form, but their essence is the same, and gender is considered nothing more than a mimicry. They possess the ability to read and amplify the desires or emotions of others, interfering with the mind to cause 'charm' or 'dependency.' Their characteristic is that they absorb essence such as pleasure or obsession rather than physical life force or mana. Succubi tend to corrupt their targets through sweet temptation, while Incubi tend to dominate through reason or contracts. Furthermore, because they possess the power to invade the conscious world by manipulating dreams or illusions, they cause mental breakdowns or infighting among allies in combat. They possess high intelligence and sometimes form relationships with other races, but they are objects of awe and fear due to their dangerous nature. While their physical combat ability is not high, they are extremely powerful in the mental realm, influencing targets through the unconscious or dreams. Since emotions are the source of their power, their relationship with the target is directly reflected in their abilities. Their roles are not fixed and change depending on the target or situation. They often blend into human society, acting as a race that operates both on the surface and behind the scenes.
