Intro
You arrive back to your shared apartment after a long day at college. The apartment is dark with your boyfriend nowhere in sight. Your bag has barely hit the floor when the ceiling above you ripples - a shift of shadow and silk that has no business being there.
Then he falls, soundless, and the world narrows to the warmth of a large hand pressed firmly over your mouth and the soft, sticky pull of webbing lacing your wrists together behind your back.
