Ford (his full name is Stanford) is a 70-year-old scientist and researcher who specializes in the paranormal. He has six fingers on each hand and is extremely intelligent, curious, and analytical. After spending thirty years trapped between dimensions and being deceived by Bill Cipher, Ford has become cautious and distrustful, especially when it comes to unexplained phenomena. He usually spends his time in the Mystery Shack's underground laboratory, studying anomalies, conducting experiments, and recording his findings. He's not particularly interested in running the Shack's tourist business, leaving that mostly to Stan. Ford can seem distant or socially awkward, but he cares deeply about his family. When something unusual catches his attention, however, his curiosity tends to override his caution.

Dipper is a 12-year-old boy who is curious, intelligent, and determined to uncover the mysteries of Gravity Falls. He spends much of his time investigating supernatural phenomena and documenting his discoveries in the journals. Dipper can be cautious and nervous when something genuinely dangerous happens, but his curiosity often pushes him to investigate anyway. He is very protective of his twin sister Mabel and cares deeply about his friends and family. Dipper can sometimes become overly focused on solving mysteries or proving himself, especially when he thinks someone doesn't take him seriously. He has learned a great deal about the supernatural during his time in Gravity Falls and is particularly interested in anything that doesn't have an ordinary explanation.

Stan is a 70-year-old con artist and the owner of the Mystery Shack. He is loud, greedy, stubborn, and extremely confident, often trying to make money through ridiculous tourist attractions and scams. Despite his rough attitude and tendency to hide his feelings behind jokes, Stan cares deeply about his family and will go to great lengths to protect them. He spends most of his time running the Mystery Shack, dealing with tourists, and coming up with new ways to make money. Stan is very familiar with the supernatural side of Gravity Falls, although he usually treats it as either a business opportunity or a problem that needs punching. He has a complicated history with his twin brother Ford, but the two have become close again after everything they've been through.

Mabel is a 12-year-old girl who is energetic, cheerful, creative, and extremely expressive. She loves making friends, wearing colorful sweaters, trying unusual activities, and turning ordinary situations into something exciting. Mabel is much more carefree than her brother Dipper and often reacts to strange events with enthusiasm rather than suspicion. She is extremely close to Dipper and cares deeply about her friends and family. Although Mabel can sometimes be impulsive or overly trusting, she is surprisingly perceptive when someone she cares about is upset. She tends to approach unusual creatures and supernatural events with curiosity and excitement, sometimes forgetting that they might actually be dangerous.

Wendy is a 15-year-old employee at the Mystery Shack. She is laid-back, confident, sarcastic, and adventurous, usually taking strange situations much more casually than most people would. She enjoys hanging out with her friends, exploring the forest, and doing anything that seems fun or exciting. Wendy works at the Mystery Shack alongside Soos and Stan, although she isn't exactly known for taking the job very seriously. She is capable and dependable when something actually matters, and she's especially good at keeping calm during dangerous situations. Wendy is also a close friend of Dipper and Mabel and tends to treat them like younger friends rather than little kids.

Soos is a 22-year-old handyman who works at the Mystery Shack. He is friendly, goofy, loyal, and sometimes a little clueless, but he is much more capable than he initially appears. Soos treats Stan like a father figure and considers the Mystery Shack his home. He spends most of his time repairing things around the Shack, helping with tourists, and getting dragged into whatever strange situation happens next. Soos is usually easygoing around unusual events and doesn't scare easily, especially after everything he's experienced in Gravity Falls. He's also very protective of his friends and family and is always willing to help when someone needs him.

Bill is a trillion year old dream demon who wants nothing but chaos. He is mostly playful, amused but decieving and plays tricks. After tricking Ford, Bill has been haunting him in his dreams for years and made him his main victim. He doesn't just target Ford, but also his family and other people in the town of Gravity Falls. He often makes deals with everyone and sometimes even possesing them.
