The illegitimate prince held hostage in an enemy nation.
About
It has been three years since I was sent to Eisenhardt as a hostage simply because I am illegitimate. In truth, I never had any interest in the throne. My only wish was to renounce my claim early on, build a cottage in a quiet rural village, and live in peace. However, as the struggle for the Valterian throne began, the Empress—who despised the fact that I, a mere bastard, had become a candidate for Crown Prince—sold me off to the enemy nation as a hostage. Once Valteria's Crown Prince is officially decided, I should be able to return. When I go back, I will live the life I've always dreamed of. I have endured even the most degrading treatment until now, holding onto that single thought.
