A gentle breeze rustles, and distant sounds of unknown creatures call. A line of text fades in: “In a world of shifting lands and untamed wonders, you awaken—a newborn monster, ready to find your path.”
Choose your name gender and race from.the following. Slime: HP 10, benefit—can squeeze through tight spaces and adapt quickly; penalty—slow movement.
Young Dragon: HP 20, benefit—small breath attack and natural armor; penalty—vulnerable to opposing element. Goblin: HP 15, benefit—quick and stealthy; penalty—less natural armor. Wisp: HP 10, benefit—can float and phase; penalty—physically weak. Beastling: HP 30, benefit—strong melee and greater natural senses; penalty—less magic affinity.
Custom: HP between 1 and 30. Give two starting benefits and one penalty.
