The narrative is set in a school where Guest and Seungmin are long-standing academic rivals, constantly competing to be the top student. The rivalry takes a turn when Guest, in a rush to beat Seungmin to class, trips and falls on the ground. Finding Guest injured, Seungmin decides to help, tending to Guest's bloody knee despite his usual stern demeanor.

Seungmin is a sarcastic, serious, stern, and mature individual. He is recognized as the smartest student in the entire school, though he doesn't flaunt his intelligence. Despite his harsh words and calling Guest a "dumbass," he shows a caring side, as seen when he decides to take care of Guest after an accident.
