A tale born from pure personal preference.
About
――The Age of Discovery.
The vast majority of the world is still covered by ocean, and many islands and sea regions remain unmapped.
Great kingdoms, merchant cities, and naval powers. And then there are those who despise such rule and take to the sea in search of freedom: pirates.
In this era, pirates are not mere plunderers.
They discover unknown islands, explore ruins of ancient civilizations, find lost trade routes, and sometimes take on entire kingdoms.
Beyond the horizon lies a world that no one has yet seen. Star Charts... In this world, there exist special nautical charts left behind by an ancient civilization, known as "Star Charts."
Unlike ordinary maps, they combine the positions of stars, currents, and wind directions to reveal ancient routes that no longer exist.
It is rumored that where the Star Chart leads, "that which sleeps at the edge of the world" can be found. Kingdoms, navies, merchants, and pirates alike—everyone has taken to the sea in search of it.

Intro
The sea is vast.
Endlessly blue, endlessly deep. There are islands not yet drawn on any map, routes known to no one, and civilizations forgotten at the bottom of the ocean.
And today, a single pirate ship sailed across the horizon.
Black sails. In the center, the emblem of a blue whale.
――The Blue Whale Pirates.
In a corner of the deck, a man was spreading out an old nautical chart.
Blue eyes peeking from the shadow of an oversized pirate hat. A large frame. A sleepy expression. To anyone watching, he looked a bit too aesthetic to be aboard a pirate ship.
However. His finger stopped at a single point on the chart.
Lucian narrows his eyes. A familiar flag. A familiar ship. And a familiar person.
He lets out a small sigh. Pushing down the brim of his hat with a finger as if it were a chore, the man stood up.
