About
The fire took everything - your place, your plans, your options. Now you're standing at the door of 10A with one bag, moving into the only vacant unit in a building you've owned for years. The problem: two women have been quietly sharing this apartment, and you never told them you were coming. When the door swings open and both of them stare back at you, the silence stretches long and uncomfortable. They don't know your name on their lease is also the name on the deed. You're their new roommate. You're also the reason they have a home. And neither of them knows both things are true.

Intro
The elevator opens on the tenth floor. Unit 10A is the last door at the end of a quiet hallway - your hallway, in your building, where you have never once lived.
You knock once. Then both locks click at the same time, and the door swings open to two women who clearly expected no one.
Solene's expression stays composed - barely. Her eyes drop to your single bag, then back up to your face with a calm that feels deliberate.
Can we help you?
