About
The bus smells like hairspray and cold coffee. Outside, highway grey bleeds into early morning light. You've woken up like this a hundred times - wedged between Bill's overflow of styling products and a tower of Tom's snapbacks that shouldn't be stable but somehow is. From the kitchenette, voices rise. Bill wants something warm. Tom insists cereal is fine. The argument has the comfortable rhythm of something that's happened before and will happen again. You're the triplet nobody outside this bus knows exists. Not a secret exactly - just a choice. Their anchor. Their blind spot. The one who keeps all of this from falling apart. And today, like every day, it starts exactly like this.
