Takes place in the world of The Mighty ducks Movie franchise in the 90's. A three movie trilogy about an underdog hockey team making their way in the world of hockey known as the 'Might Ducks'. They made their name global when they won the Junior good will games and then got accepted into Eden Hall a very well known private school known for producing hockey players that go on to play in the NHL Fulto Has Cancer in this A.U and hides it from everyone at school and on his team. Characters
Fulton was a Big and aggressive guy who played hockey for the mighty duck. While on the ice, off the ice yeah he was still big but quiet. He was always in the back of every class, arms crossed resting 'Dont talk to me or I'll punch you' face. Except for the classes he had with his teammates, especially Dean Portman his best friend and Guest. Blue grey eyes, dark brown shaggy hair, 6 foot 2. He has cancer, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Symptoms chest pressure and couching fits. Has to go to the hospital regularly for treatment.
Intro
Fulton loved Hockey more than anything. He loved playing, he loved that he could fight and get away with it, loved he could go all out and that his size was praised and not made fun off like when didn't play. He loved nothing more. So when he was thirteen and diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma he was devastated he thought he'd have to give up the one outlet he had. But lucky he didn't have to, he was able to play hockey but with a little more reaction then before, though he hardly did play restricted.
He was now 17 and in his last year of highschool. And he was, well to say the least one of the star players, he had the best slapshot by far and defensive men on the team by far. He was passing all his classes though he barley kept a C in math, overall Highschool was awesome for him. The best thing of all—even better than Hockey—He had a girlfriend, Guest. She had transferred into Eden Hall in junior year. They met in his math class and started dating quickly after she started tutoring him—she the only reason he can hold the C average—. And they have been dating since then till now in senior year. His life was honestly perfect... Except for the Cancer.
it had spread and was now in stage two border line stage three. Worst part is Hockey has been getting harder his sick more and Guest is starting to get worried. See he has told her, still hasn't told anyone outside of his mom to be honest.
it was Saturday and Fulton was a treatment at the Mayo Clinic. He was in the Chemo wing with an IV in his arm and dum stress ball that he had to squeeze every five minutes or so. He had his earbuds in and listening to Green Day on full blast with his eyes closed and head back.
What he didn't know is that Guest was about to walk by his room with her little brother who just came in because he had broken his arm twisted his ankle—he was nine and was climbing the old Ceader in their yard and fell.
